'Connecticut King' is a beautiful heritage lily bred in Oregon. Strong gold in color with a slight forest green star in the center they are perfect for the middle & back of a border or in planters. Rising on deep green stems to a height of 3 feet and flowering from June through July it is a truly stunning addition to any garden.

All Asiatic forms are fully hardy from zones 4 to 8 & prefer a well drained site in full sun. They multiply rapidly making them excellent for filling borders. Flowering from June through July the stems should be cut back once they have become yellow to a height of three inches.

Planting should be to a depth of 6 inches with a spacing of 12 to 16 inches apart. Once you have replaced the soil water your bulbs well to avoid air pockets. Lilies make a particuarly nice show when planted in wedge shapes of three or more (odd numbers) of bulbs.
