'Gran Paradiso' is a carnival for your garden in rich red shot through with a silky sheen of tangerine. Rising to a height of 3 feet on strong, deep green stems its perfect for the back of borders & containers where it will flower from June through July.

All Asiatic forms are fully hardy from zones 4 to 8 & prefer a well drained site in full sun. They multiply rapidly making them excellent for filling borders. Flowering from June through July the stems should be cut back once they have become yellow to a height of three inches.

Planting should be to a depth of 6 inches with a spacing of 12 to 16 inches apart. Once you have replaced the soil water your bulbs well to avoid air pockets. Lilies make a particuarly nice show when planted in wedge shapes of three or more (odd numbers) of bulbs.
